Mr. Chiles, CTE Marketing Teacher

DECA Academic Advisor, 2019 to Present

The 2023/2024 school year marks the beginning of Mr. Chiles’ seventh year in education. Mr. Chiles is a native North Texan who proudly graduated from Edward S. Marcus High School in Flower Mound and The University of North Texas with a degree in Business and minors in Marketing and Finance.

He broke industry barriers and tested the limits of technology as a young Real Estate Broker while he worked his way through college, innovating change across North Texas. Over a decade after leaving real estate, Mr. Chiles still has a reputation in the market as being a man with integrity and a shrewd negotiator that can read a contract upside-down. He has received multiple awards of excellence for sales, customer satisfaction, and community service. Mr. Chiles has had the distinct opportunity to lobby at the state and federal levels as well. Most recently, he was on a team that focused on lobbying for additional funding for public education. He has worked in multiple industries and brings a wealth of knowledge to our program.

He also loves great puns and does a decent Elvis impersonation. His hobbies include: reading (he loves a good Audible book); listening to music; watching home improvement shows; swimming; cooking; traveling to new places (and a few old ones too); spending time with family and friends; learning and trying new things; anything Star Trek; and most of all, spending time with his best friend, wife, and partner of almost twenty years, Shelby.
